BAYNE CART LIFTERS DESIGNED TO PROTECT MEDICAL EMPLOYEES

S.C. (Feb. 12, 2009) — Bayne Premium Lift Systems introduces a line of
cart lifters designed to help medical facility employees avoid
infection, disease and injury caused by bio-hazardous waste disposal.
The lifters in the C/I Medical Waste series make it possible for
employees to load waste into an incinerator, autoclave or Rotoclave®
without coming into contact with the waste itself. The lifters eliminate
the need for employees to physically lift and dump waste containers,
also reducing the risk of injury. |
Using a C/I Medical
Waste lifter, an employee needs only to wheel the refuse container to
the lifter and press the “up” button. The lifter then automatically
holds the cart to the lift plate, picks it up and dumps it. With a press
of the “down” button, the cart is automatically returned to the
lowered position. The lifters can be equipped with casters for mobile
use or be installed directly in front of the disposal device into which
they will empty carts.

There
are three models in the C/I Medical Waste series, to accommodate
domestic-style two-bar carts, European style carts and mobile trucks
with bottom fork pockets. Lift capacity ranges from 400 lbs. to 1,000
lbs. Self-lubricating composite bearings at all pivot points prevent the
need for greasing, and reduce maintenance time and expense. Each lifter
is powder-coated to provide the most durable finish and is backed by the
industry’s best one-year warranty.
